Reuters: ‘They are warm to Erdogan’s plan’

The sources, who asked not to be named, told reporters that they are holding talks for the next meeting of the OSCE Minsk Group, which will discuss the problems in the Donbass region of Ukraine, to be held in Turkey.

While Russia, which wants guarantees from Western countries on Ukraine’s non-membership of NATO and some other issues, is massing troops on the Ukrainian border, Western countries are expressing that Russia is preparing to invade Ukraine and they will respond if it happens.

Sources stated that a date has not yet been set for the meeting, which is expected to be attended by representatives from Russia, Ukraine, OSCE Minsk group and Donbass.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said there was no preparation for such a meeting.
