Laetitia opens the cosmos to women. What is the potential of extraterrestrial space?

Laetitia Garriott de Cayeux is the CEO of Global Space Ventures, one of the first investors in technology development, and an ambassador and advocate for the democratization of women in access to space. How can extraterrestrial space contribute to helping the victims of the war in Ukraine? We talked with her about it on Dzień Dobry TVN.

As one of the few, she believed in the strength and potential of the cosmos. She pointed out that our eyes should be directed towards the sky, and the activity of women in the extraterrestrial space must definitely increase.

– There are more and more women who are involved in the space industry. In America, the vice president of NASA is a woman. There is also a woman who is the head of the Science and Technology Office. The ambassador of the United Nations of America, who also deals with the care of space, is a woman. And the youngest astronaut – lists Laetitia Garriott de Cayeux. – But there are still too few women – adds the expert.

Space and the war in Ukraine

Laetitia Garriott de Cayeux in the Dzień Dobry TVN studio explained how extraterrestrial space explorers contribute to supporting victims of armed conflicts.

– Starlink is the creation of cell transporters and they have a huge impact on helping soldiers. The infrastructure on Earth has been destroyed, and thanks to the air transmitters, we can help their families and children who can participate in the lessons. So there is enormous potential in space, explained the CEO of Global Space Ventures.
