11 athletes from the Krasnoyarsk Territory will compete at the 2022 Olympics in Beijing

Eleven athletes representing the Krasnoyarsk Territory will go to the 2022 Olympics in China as part of the Russian team. Krasnoyarsk athletes will compete for medals in skeleton, bobsleigh, speed skating and luge competitions. The application was announced by the Russian Olympic Committee on Tuesday, January 18.

The Krasnoyarsk Territory once again confirmed the status of one of the main winter sports centers in Russia. 11 athletes from Krasnoyarsk were included in the final application of the Russian team for participation in the 2022 Olympic Games in China.

According to official information, Alexander Denisiev and Vladislav Antonov, lugers from Krasnoyarsk, were the first to be included in the application. Skater Viktor Mushtakov will also go to Beijing.

The national skeleton team included well-known Krasnoyarsk athletes Alexander Tretyakov, Yulia Kanakina and Nikita Tregubov.

Pavel Travkin, Maxim Andrianov and Mikhail Mordasov were included in the application of the men’s bobsleigh team. As for the women’s team, the Krasnoyarsk bobsledder Nadezhda Sergeeva will go to Beijing.

We add that now bobsledders and skeletonists are recovering on the Black Sea. They need rest after the completed European champion.
