A 47-year-old man threw himself on Saturday morning, November 19, from the 4th floor of the Buzău County Emergency Hospital, where he was also hospitalized for a suicide attempt, reported news.ro, information confirmed for Libertatea by the Buzău Police and the hospital’s spokesperson, who specified that the man did not die, but suffered trauma and is trying to transfer him to Bucharest.
“A 47-year-old patient came to the hospital following a voluntary ingestion of drugs to commit suicide. He was on the fourth floor, in the department of internal medicine, and he threw himself into the void from the room where he was hospitalized,” said Adriana Bunilă, the hospital’s spokesperson, for Libertatea.
She mentioned that the man did not die as a result of the fall from the floor and that steps are being taken to transfer him to a hospital in Bucharest.
“He is currently receiving medical attention. He did not die, but as a result of the fall he suffered trauma and they are trying to transfer him to a hospital in the Capital”, added Adriana Bunilă, spokesperson of the hospital, for Libertatea.
