Museum Night 2022. What museums can you visit in Bucharest and in the country on May 14th

The 18th edition of the Museum Night will take place on Saturday, May 14, in 87 localities. More than 50 museums will be opened in Bucharest. The public will be able to enter for free exhibitions, screenings, shows, workshops, concerts, interactive tours, all physically, after two editions of the pandemic.

Nationwide, more than 170 museums, memorial houses, theaters, universities, cinemas, libraries, galleries, art gardens, institutes and cultural centers will be open to the public free of charge on Museum Night.

In Bucharest, the Night of Museums records an absolute record of 64 cultural objectives that will open their doors on Saturday, May 14th.

In Bucharest you can visit, among others, the Antipa Museum, the Astronomical Observatory, the Arc de Triomphe and the Lipatti House.

The Capital City Hall will host nine exhibitions, a screening of historical films from the archives of the Bucharest Museum and a video installation about Bucharest. Also, at the National Museum of Romanian Literature, the band Sarmalele Reci will perform, and the guest at midnight will be Florin Piersic jr.
