A criminal case has been initiated against a resident of the city of Domodedovo near Moscow, who was detained after shooting from an apartment window, under three articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the representative of the regional head office of the Investigative Committee (IC) Olga Vradiy.
According to Vradiy, in the case of the 54-year-old man, article 317 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation appears – an encroachment on the life of law enforcement officers; part 1 of article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – the threat of violence against a representative of authority; as well as part 2 of article 213 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – hooliganism with the use of weapons, Interfax reports.
The representative of the regional head office of the Investigative Committee added that criminologists and investigators are now working at the scene, an inspection is being carried out, the appointment of the necessary examinations is planned, and interrogations are being carried out.
Recall, earlier it became known that a man was detained in Domodedovo, who opened fire on passers-by from the apartment window. First, he attacked the concierge with an ax, then barricaded himself in his own apartment and began shooting from a window at passers-by with a hunting rifle. The man was detained by the police. He was carried out of the entrance on a stretcher, as he was wounded in the shoulder.
As a result of the incident, residents, passers-by and law enforcement officers were not injured.
The 54-year-old man is a hunter. According to preliminary data, at the time of the incident he was in a state of extreme intoxication.
