HOW TO EVALUATE THE SCHOLARSHIP EXAM?
The IOKBS score of the students who participated in the exam, according to the following process steps
will be calculated.
a. Each student’s answer sheet is read with an optical reader.
b. The number of correct and incorrect answers is determined for each of the tests belonging to the courses in which questions are asked in IOKBS.
c. For each test, one-third of the number of incorrect answers is subtracted from the number of correct answers to find the raw scores corresponding to the valid answers. Thus, four separate raw scores are calculated for each student.
c. The sum of the raw scores of all students is divided by the number of students taking the exam to find the average for each test.
D. The standard deviation of each test is calculated using raw scores, test averages, and the number of students taking the test.
to. Students’ Standard Score (SP) for each test; It is obtained at the end of a conversion process that brings the mean of all students’ raw scores to 50 and their standard deviation to 10 by using the mean and standard deviation of that test.
f. The standard scores calculated for each test are multiplied by the coefficients given in the table below to find the weighted standard scores of each test.
g. Total Weighted Standard Score (TASP) is found by summing the weighted standard scores of the tests.
ğ. As a result of an error in the answer key and this issue is determined by the decision of the Central Examination Board, the question/questions will not be canceled, and these question/questions will be included in the assessment by taking into account the correct options of the question/s.
h. During the evaluation, the question/questions decided to be canceled by the decision of the Central Examination Board or the judicial authorities are excluded from the evaluation and scoring is done by re-determining the point value of the valid question/questions.
I. The exams of students who do not mark on the answer sheet even though they have taken the exam will not be evaluated.
