Starting this Tuesday, September 20, six new stories will be available in which the question of second chances is the central axis. The launch coincides with the week of the Virgen de las Mercedes, patron saint of inmates, and in whose name various activities are carried out in prisons throughout the country.

Johana Bahamón, director of Acción Interna, is the presenter of the podcast. The Foundation has spent ten years promoting initiatives to improve the quality of life of those who live behind bars.

“The vast majority of the prison and post-prison population has moved in very difficult contexts and environments that have not allowed them to have job opportunities, study, among others. But beyond the consequences they have to pay for those mistakes, there are talented human beings looking for second chances,” Bahamón said in a recent interview.
