Huawei Honor VR Camera, a 360º camera for virtual reality

With the market for virtual reality glasses booming, whether in the form of standalone equipment or with mobile add-ons, 360-degree videos and photos are starting to gain popularity. They have been supported for a long time on portals such as Facebook or YouTube and manufacturers seek to launch new products, not only to consume content, but also to generate it.

The last one to join the bandwagon has been Huawei through its Honor brand with a 360-degree camera made up of two lenses and a spherical shape reminiscent of Samsung’s Gear 360s.

The Honor VR Camera, That is what the device is called, it has been manufactured in collaboration with Insta360 and is capable of taking “3K” photographs, although we will have to wait for MWC 2017 next week to know more details.
