Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet starred in one of the most romantic love stories in Hollywood, but now they surprise the whole world with the news of their separation. The actor, who played Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones and brought Aquaman to life, he broke the news to his followers through a message on Instagram. “We have all felt the pressure of these transformative times…A revolution is unfolding and our family is no exception…Feeling and growing from the seismic shifts taking place…We share our family news that we will no longer be married” . The actor stated that he shared the decision made with his wife, actress Lisa Bonet, because they were faithful to their principles of honesty and dignity. Without other reasons, the interpreter reaffirmed his feelings. “The love between us continues to evolve, but we break free from each other to be who we are learning to become. Our unwavering devotion to our children is sacred.”

The love you always dreamed of

The actor had fallen in love with her since he was a child, and so he told it several years ago in The Late Late Showby James Corden. “Ever since I was about 8 years old and I saw her on TV, I thought: ´Mommy, I want that one´”. Some time later, one night in a jazz club, her dream came true. “We were in the same place and in the I turned around and there she was. ‘I’m Lisa,’ she said. I turned to my friend and pretended to yell. It was like I had fireworks inside.” That day they went to dinner, and it started between them a love affair that lasted 16 years. Lisa, who is known, among other works, as Denisse, the daughter of Dr. Huxtable in The Cosby Show, had been married to Lenny Kravitz and had a daughter with him, Zoe, whom Momoa helped raise. The couple had two children, Lola Lolani, in 2007, and Nakoa-Wolf, in 2008. In 2017, they decided to marry, in a ceremony in Topanga, California.
