Fazıl Say’s support for Kaftancıoğlu: “No one can touch my dear Canan’s hair”

Say, “I will write when I have recovered a bit. No one can touch dear Canan’s hair. I will oppose those who want to slaughter Imamoglu in such a ridiculous and illegal way. We will not let him eat. My gratitude to all those who offer my condolences” mentioned.


Say, “I think Ekrem İmamoğlu understands well that he cannot take his ‘ugliness’ with him to win against evil and it creates disappointment in all of us. If we are against illegal injustice to do against him, of course, we will stay. Because we are against illegality in this country,” he said. by making a statement; “We are with dear Canan. We will not let her be touched. Our real hero is Canan Kaftancıoğlu. We will never let her eat her” given your message.


The Supreme Court of Appeal upheld the sentences of Istanbul CHP Provincial Chairman Canan Kaftancıoğlu in 3 cases and dropped 2 cases.

The 3rd Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Appeal upheld the 4 years 11 months and 20 days portion of the 9 years 8 months and 20 days prison sentence given to Kaftancıoğlu for 5 different crimes. The Supreme Court overturned the sentence of 4 years and 2 months in prison pronounced against Kaftancıoğlu for two crimes.

Kaftancıoğlu’s sentences for “insulting a public official due to his duty”, “public insult to the State of the Republic of Turkey” and “insulting the President” due to his social media posts were upheld.
