Will there be a new retirement age in Poland? Such can be internship pensions. Two projects concerning the so-called “internships”. The first one was deposited by “Solidarity”, and the second by President Andrzej Duda. What is included in these projects? What conditions will have to be met in order to go to the internship retirement pension and when may they enter into force?

Work experience pensions have been a hot topic for several years now. Their introduction was promised by the president, Andrzej Duda. He talked about it, among others during the election campaign in summer 2020.

“Solidarność” submitted its project concerning internship pensions to the Sejm. 235,000 people signed this project.

Also Andrzej Duda has already submitted an appropriate project, which describes the rules of retirement for internships. It shows that it will be possible to use it from 2023. Of course, the Sejm and Senate must first agree to it. What was included in both projects and what will be the rules of transition to the internship retirement pension? Read in our gallery.
