TMSF puts its carpet yarn factory up for sale

The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) has decided to bid for the facility named “BCF1”, which is owned by Naksan Plastik and Royal Halı and produces carpet yarn.

The factory building and land, which continues production in 3 plots with a total area of ​​28,000 square meters in the 1st Organized Industrial Zone of Gaziantep, and the machinery, equipment, fixtures and contracts of the factory have was offered for sale as a parcel with an estimated value of 120 million 500 thousand lire.

The plant, which continues to operate with 156 people, has an annual production capacity of 18,000 tons.

It is expected that 45% of the facility’s total revenue, which exports to around 30 countries, will come from export revenue by the end of 2022.


Relying on the powers conferred on it by the banking law, the SDIF put up for sale the facility called “BCF1” by creating “commercial economic integrity”.

With this method, the valuable assets of the companies are sold in bulk, not the shares of the companies, and the investor who won the tender cannot be held responsible for any debts that may arise from the elapsed period.

Final bids for the tender, which will be held on June 28 at 2:30 p.m. at the SDIF building in Istanbul Esentepe, can be submitted until June 27.
