Toledo has never had an easy life with Seat. The first, quite stylistically interesting generation is practically invisible on the streets, the second one was rather bland, the third one was a strange variation on the MPV body. Fortunately, the manufacturer returned to its roots in the fourth generation, but is it just a cheaper alternative to Skoda Rapid?
The fourth-generation Toledo returned to the market after a few years of hiatus and a rather unsuccessful third generation, which in terms of body fit rather the MPV than the classic sedan / liftback. The fourth generation returned to its roots and was produced from 2012 to 2018. Unfortunately, she has disappeared again and it does not seem that she will come back any time soon. This strange inconsistency is probably due to the fact that Toledo has always been overshadowed by other Volkswagen models. It was similar with the last generation, which had to compete with Skoda Rapid, and as you know, the Czech proposal was quite popular. In addition, the Toledo was created on a modified Volkswagen Polo platform, and this had some consequences, including quite narrow and cramped interior.
